(Orange, MA) Positive numbers are coming out of some communities in Franklin County. The Orange Board of Health has released weekly information regarding confirmed COVID-19 cases. Happily, the number of confirmed cases has risen by just one. There are 108 negative tests, 12 home isolations, 11 recoveries, one hospitalization and one death.

”We want to thank every resident and business, as well as those visiting, for  following the guidelines and recommendations in place. Working together, in unison, is the only way to slow the spread,” the Orange Board of Health said in a recent statement.

Social distancing measures, as well as mandated facing coverings in public, and good hand washing have contributed to the positive downward trend in Orange. While this news is positive, the Orange Board of Health urges all residents to keep up these measures and continue to stay home to continue the downward trend in COVID-19 cases.
