Valley Storm Back In Action This Weekend

The Valley Storm Softball teams are back in action this weekend in East Hartford Connecticut. The teams are participating in the Elite Sports Invitational Tournament. The Valley Storm U12 squad in particular is playing some good ball, coming off a 3-1 weekend last week in the Summer Extravaganza Tournament in Meriden, Connecticut.

Greenfield Fire Department remembers 9/11 24 years later: “We will never forget”

On this 24th anniversary of the 9/11 terror attacks on America, the Greenfield Fire Department hosted a ceremony of remembrance at the fire station at 41 Main Street.

Fire Chief Robert Strahan addressed a small gathering of residents and GFD members. Strahan said September 11 this year was in some ways was very reminiscent of September 11, 2001.
