Vehicle Takes Out Guy Wire Pole On Leyden Road

(Greenfield, MA) The snow and freezing rain that came Tuesday into Wednesday morning created slippery road conditions. The Greenfield Fire, Police, and EMS responded to a single vehicle accident on Leyden Road. The accident took down a guy wire pole, that provides stability for surrounding utility poles. The road was temporarily closed as the pole was across the road and the occupants were brought to the hospital for medical evaluation.
