SHELBURNE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A Vermont man has been identified in the investigation of a breaking and entering, and subsequent theft, at Aubuchon Hardware in Shelburne that occurred on February 11th, 2025.
The Shelburne Police were able to identify the man through surveillance footage and discovered 34 year-old Robert Dragon was wanted in Vermont through a shared social media post.
Police in Keene, New Hampshire arrested Dragon after an officer working road construction identified the stolen vehicle Dragon was driving. Dragon led police on a vehicle and then foot pursuit before being arrested. Edited to add, Dragon was ultimately arrested in Chesterfield, New Hampshire.
Shelburne Police are working with the Keene Police Department and will be pursuing relevant charges.
