(Amherst, MA) A vigil was held yesterday for 19-year-old UMASS student Elena Lucore who was hit by a car and killed last week on the UMASS campus. The vigil was held at the Newman Catholic Center in Amherst. The accident remains under investigation and the driver of the car who hit Lucore is cooperating with police.
