Voters to decide on funding for new dump truck, Municipal Decarbonization plan and more at Ashfield Town Meeting

ASHFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) —  In the upcoming May 4th Ashfield Town Election, residents will vote on a Proposition 2 and 1/2 override to borrow $225,000 for the purchase of a dump truck. The town has previously appropriated $100,000 towards this purchase, and is looking into funding sources to reduce the borrowing. The town is also seeking to create a Grant Match Stabilization Fund and voters will decide whether the town will commit to a Municipal Decarbonization plan.
