(Northampton, MA) — Around 2,000 people were left without power yesterday afternoon after a fast-moving storm plowed through the region. Officials at the Mass. Emergency Management Agency says the bulk of the outages were reported in Hampshire and northern Hampden counties. Most of the damage was due to snapped tree limbs and uprooted utility poles. No injuries were reported.
