(Wendell, MA) — A Wendell man has been killed after he was struck by another car while changing a flat tire. It happened Sunday night at around 6:445 on Route 2 in Leominster. State Police say 44 year old Daniel Levangie was changing his tire in the breakdown lane in Leominster when a driver, identified as a 51 year old man from Fitchburg, hit Levangie’s truck and then the victim. Levangie’s family was with him but all but one of the members was out of the vehicle at the time of the crash, the cause of which is under investigation.
