(undated) — A state senator who represents parts of all four Western Mass counties may not be for much longer. Berkshire-Franklin-Hampden-Hampshire State Senator Adam Hinds says he has not decided whether he will run for another term next year. Hinds issued a statement after the Berkshire Eagle reported that Hinds and his wife had purchased a $690,000 dollar house in Amherst, which is outside his current district. Hinds maintains that his Pittsfield address will remain his primary residence, a status which has so far not been challenged by anyone. Hinds says he will make a decision about his political future before the 2022 campaign begins.
