(Western MA) Western Massachusetts will be receiving an additional 3,000 doses of the COVID-19 vaccine according to a press release put out by Senator Jo Comerford and Representative Mindy Domb.

“We want to express our gratitude to local public health officials who are rising quickly to meet the painstaking work embodied in administering this vaccine to people of our region,” read the statement.

In the statement, Domb and Comerford express their concerns over inequities including fair share of supplies, distribution sites, reservation portals, multilingual phone reservation options, support for seniors, vaccinator work force, and a regional public health campaign for safety, efficiency, and logistics of vaccine acceptance.
