Whately Diner Closed For Filming Of Showtime Series “Dexter”

(Whately, MA) — A popular Whately restaurant will remain closed this week as it doubles as a film set for a TV series. The Whately Diner is closed until Friday as shooting continues on the Showtime series “Dexter.” The series had been filmed in Shelburne Falls earlier this spring, and will also be shooting exterior footage along Route 116 in Sunderland once production in Whately wraps later this week. Drivers in the area of the diner should expect some traffic delays much of this week.
