(Whately, MA) — A once-promising retail development at the Whately-Deerfield town line is about to house not one but two new medical marijuana dispensaries. The Whately Planning Board has approved a site plan for “Debilitating Medical Condition Treatment Centers” to open a dispensary at the former Sugarloaf Shoppes on Routes 5 and 10. ToroVerde will operate a secondary dispensary on the now vacant site, which had most recently been occupied by medical offices and small scale retail operations.
