WHATELY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — In Whately’s Annual Town Meeting held this past Tuesday, voters approved a $120,000 renovation for the elementary school playground and a bylaw that will regulate battery energy storage systems. The only article that failed to pass was transitioning the Town Clerk position from an elected office to an appointed one.
