GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — UPDATE: The YMCA will remain closed Tuesday, July 30th as repairs are ongoing.
UPDATE: Franklin County’s YMCA in Greenfield closed unexpectedly Friday when a broken water main pipe left the building without water. Repairs are set to be completed Monday and will reopen as soon as water is restored to the building.
The Franklin County YMCA at 451 Main Street in Greenfield has closed expectedly Friday after a water main pipe broke and will reopen as soon as repairs are made.

YMCA CLOSED DUE TO BROKEN WATER MAIN PIPE
The YMCA Facility has been closed effective immediately (7/26) due to a broken water main pipe. Water to the Y has been shut off to complete the pipe repair. We anticipate repairs will occur on Monday (7/29) due to the availability of parts needed for this repair. We will reopen as soon as water is restored to the building. As of right now, all activities taking place at 451 Main Street Y location are canceled until further notice.
All group exercise classes, gymnastics classes/team practice, and pool time /swim lessons are canceled for this weekend (7/27-7/28). Gymnastics Camp and Y Academy on Main Preschool will be closed on Monday.
