GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Greenfield Zoning Board of Appeals voted Thursday to approve a special permit for the medical clinic Bridge Primary to operate at a new location at 55 Federal Street, in the Central Commercial Zoning District. The new location will more than double their office space, allowing their operations to expand in the coming years.
The Zoning Board of Appeals also voted to approve the appeal of abutters to the marijuana cultivation business, High Ledges Cannabis at 15 Arch Street, in relation to noise and quality of life issues. After lengthy discussion with the abutters and business owner, a proposed remedy has been reached to mitigate the noise by installing an eight-foot fence around the outdoor air compressors. The decision on a special permit to expand their operations will be stayed in the interim.
