GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Greenfield City Council’s Economic Development Committee is meeting this evening to take up the matter of four proposed zoning amendments before they go to full council.

Zoning Amendment #1: allowing multi-family dwellings by right instead of by special permit in the semi-residential district,

Zoning Amendment #2: removing caps on multi-family units in a structure,

Zoning Amendment #3: allowing first floor dwelling units in mixed residential/business structures, and

Zoning Amendment 3$: allowing medical centers by right instead of by special permit in the Central Commercial District.

Public comment will be accepted at the EDC meeting tonight at 6 p.m. in City Hall and via Zoom.
