Parked State Trooper Hit On Route 91 North In Deerfield

(Deerfield, MA) A driver hit a parked Massachusetts State Trooper cruiser on Route 91 North in Deerfield this afternoon. The State Trooper was standing outside of their cruiser while on a street sweeping detail. No one was injured in the accident, but the driver was brought to the hospital.

No information yet about charges for the driver, but there are multiple witnesses saying the driver had been using their cell phone according the State Police Association of Massachusetts.
