Weekend Traffic, Detour Alert In Bernardston

(Bernardston, MA) There will be detours and heavy traffic this weekend in Bernardston due to the Steam Engine Show in Bernardston and the Worm Town Festival on Leyden Road in Greenfield.

South Street at West Mountain Road will be open to southbound one-way traffic on Saturday, May 28th from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 29th from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. noon.

Northerly traffic on Barton Road in Greenfield will be detoured to Severance Street and Log Plain Road. The Bernardston Police Department is asking for local residents and travelers to seek an alternate route, if possible.
