(Bernardston, MA) — Bernardston fire officials are reminding residents to keep a proper distance between outdoor fires and buildings. This after an early Sunday night fire in a pit spread to and damaged a barn and adjacent house. Multiple departments responded via Mutual Aid. No injuries were reported. A damage estimate has not yet been released.
