TURNERS FALLS, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Gill-Montague Regional School District is about two weeks away from naming a new principal for Hillcrest Elementary School in Turners Falls.
“We began our interviews on Monday night and we will continue through the week,” said Gill-Montague Superintendent Brian Beck. “We hope to do finalist interviews next week. By the time we get to the May 14 (School Committee) meeting, hopefully we will be introducing a new principal.”
Beck did not reveal the names of the candidates, but did say there are four individuals in the running.
The new principal will take over for Sarah Burstein, who is leaving the district to become the new principal at Bernardston Elementary School.
