BERNARDSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The investigation continues into a three-vehicle crash in Bernardston this morning. Bernardston Police said the crash occurred on Route 10 near Bald Mountain Road shortly before 7:30 a.m.
One of the vehicles sustained heavy damage, and another one rolled over as a result of the impact. Bernardston Fire said there were no serious injuries reported.
Police said the preliminary investigation showed the accident was caused by a driver whose attention was diverted from the roadway, and they remind all drivers of the dangers of distracted driving. There have been no charges filed as yet as a result of the accident.
The roadway has since been re-opened to traffic.
