SOUTH DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Friends of the Franklin County Dog Shelter are working to bring a new dog shelter to South Deerfield, at 0 Greenfield Road. The plans for the project include an 8,000 square foot facility with indoor and outdoor kennels. There will be a public hearing on Monday, March 3rd at 7 p.m. in the Deerfield Town Offices and via Zoom.
