HAWLEY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) —  A chimney fire broke out at a home in Hawley on Friday. Firefighters were alerted to the fire at 6 p.m., who determined a bucket truck would be needed to fight the fire as the icy conditions made the roof unsuitable. With quick work, the fire was contained to the chimney without further damage to the residence.
