GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) —  The Connecticut River Conservancy is getting the support of the Greenfield Historical Commission in the removal of the Mill Street and Wiley & Russell dams. In a presentation on the project to the Historical Commission, the Conservancy said the project might not begin work until next year, but getting the support of the Commission at this stage will begin a collaborative relationship between the organizations.
