NEW SALEM, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A fire sparked from a vehicle collision with a tree on Fay Road in New Salem Sunday evening.
Reports came in just after 7 p.m. of the accident that resulted in a fully involved car fire and power lines knocked down across the roadway.
When crews arrived on scene, the operator was not with the vehicle. State Police located the driver within hours.
