Parking Benefit District could use 10% of parking proceeds

GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Greenfield Economic Development Committee continued discussion on the proposal for a Parking Benefit District in the Central Commercial District.

EDC Chair Derek Helie said Mayor Desorhger has agreed to a minimum of 10% of the parking meter proceeds to be committed to the project.

Next steps in the proposal include adding the ordinance to the city charter through the Charter Review Committee and passing a vote in full City Council.
