TURNERS FALLS, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Maple Leaf Foods, commonly known as Lightlife Foods, has announced that it will be winding down operations at the industrial park in Turners Falls and shutting down the facility by end of next year.
Maple Leaf plans to consolidate its entire plant protein business at its site in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Town officials say they are working with Maple Leaf to partner with MassHire to assist workers in finding new employment.
