ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — After the devastating fire in 2022 at the old cereal factory in Orange, the state earmarked $3.4 million to help clean up the site, with the condition a lien be placed on the property so the absent property owner could not try to reclaim the cleaned property.
Now, the town has taken ownership of the property with the help of Senator Jo Comerford and plans to redevelop the site.
