BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Senator Jo Comerford and Representative Natalie Blais are fighting for rural schools with declining enrollment in what Comerford calls a time of “acute” crisis.
Together they are sponsoring House and Senate bills to increase state support for rural schools from $16 million to $60 million and make regionalizing services more accessible.
