BELCHERTOWN, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — 36 year-old Jeffrey MacDonald of Wilbraham, was arraigned Friday morning in Eastern Hampshire District Court in connection with the murder of his wife, Emma MacDonald, 31, inside the Hotel UMass on Wednesday evening. MacDonald and his wife were both employees of UMass Amherst. MacDonald pleaded not guilty to one charge of murder and one charge of assault and battery upon a police officer.
