(Boston, MA) Governor Charlie Baker and Lt. Governor Karyn Polito has announced a new grant program for municipalities today to help towns and cities in Massachusetts repair and maintain roads and sidewalks. The grant will also be available to improve public transportation facilities and to add bike lanes into roads.
“Massachusetts can be a leader in helping towns and businesses improve their communities,” said Polito.
Polito remarked that transportation is an essential part of business communities around Massachusetts. The Chapter 90 program for capital improvements is 100% reimbursable. For more information on the program click here.
