GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Greenfield Fire Department will be honoring Captain John D. Whitney with a formal uniformed funeral procession this Sunday, August 2nd. Captain Whitney died on July 22nd from occupational brain cancer recognized as a Line-of-Duty Death.
