SHELBURNE FALLS, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — This year marks the tenth anniversary since the passing of Plainfield’s nine year old Summer Steele in a school bus accident. Family and community members gathered at The Shelburne Falls Pub at the Sweetheart for their annual heart-shaped pumpkin carving celebration of life.
The heart-shaped carvings are lit up throughout Shelburne Falls, keeping her memory alive.
