(BOSTON) — Massachusetts has removed another state from its list of lower-risk states that do not require travelers to fill out a form, undergo testing or quarantine.
On Friday, Oregon was removed from the Department of Public Health’s list. No states were added.
Currently, the lower-risk states list includes: Colorado, Connecticut, Maine, New Jersey, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New York, Vermont and Washington.
Rhode Island is still considered a higher risk state, and restrictions on travel between Massachusetts and the Ocean State remain in place.
Under the current travel rules, anyone entering Massachusetts from other states is required to fill out a “Massachusetts Travel Form” and quarantine for two weeks unless they can produce a negative result from a COVID-19 test administered no more than 72 hours before they arrived in the state.
Failure to comply with the requirements could result in a $500 per day fine.
