ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A child’s quick thinking helped contain a house fire in Orange Wednesday evening.
Officials say the child spotted flames in a second-floor bedroom, closed the door and helped the family get outside safely. Firefighters rescued one cat, while the Red Cross is assisting the family.
The accidental fire remains under investigation.
