(Greenfield, MA) A group of Greenfield residents is asking for more air and groundwater tests at the former Lunt Silversmith property. Officials at the hearing on Tuesday claimed to have removed 1,400 tons of contaminated soil and installed two passive mitigation systems. These environmental concerns need to be addressed before the City of Greenfield sells the property according ot the unhappy group of Greenfield residents.
