SHELBURNE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Massachusetts State Police at the Shelburne Falls Barracks have told Franklin County Now that the Mohawk Trail (Route 2) in Shelburne is closed from Shelburne Center Road to South Maple Street leading to Shelburne Falls.
State Police said that a vehicle hit a pole earlier, and then the pole came down, dropping wires into the roadway.
Eversource crews are on the scene, but it is unknown exactly when the roadway will be re-opened.
