(Greenfield, MA) The City of Greenfield and the Greenfield Health Department have begun receiving results from the COVID-19 wastewater testing program. There are not enough results yet to determine a trend, but so far the data shows a decrease in the concentration of the virus present in the wastewater from May 11th to May 18th, which does not correspond directly with the data collected from COVID-19 testing in Franklin County that shows a more steady number of positive cases.
