GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Greenfield Schools will see a modified redistricting plan for the 2025-2026 school year after budget constraints became apparent.
The School Committee voted unanimously Wednesday to move forward with the redrawing of geographical lines determining which students attend which neighborhood elementary schools, however no grades will be changing buildings. The 5th and 8th grades will remain in their current locations.
Discussions will continue for the 2026-2027 school year.
