FRANKLIN COUNTY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The spring bulky waste recycling day is coming on the morning of May 17th at the Erving Highway Garage, Mohawk Trail Regional High School, and the Whately Transfer Station.
Recently, the Franklin County Waste District moved to stop allowing the disposal of mattresses and box springs at the bulky waste events, as they are now accepted at many transfer stations year round.
