GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A parent of a Greenfield public school student, and chair of the Human Rights Commission, Mpress Bennu, spoke at the April City Council meeting alleging a substitute teacher at Federal Street School used a racial slur against her child.
Superintendent Karin Patenaude and Principal Kelly Halpin said in a joint statement that the incident is under investigation.
