COLRAIN, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Colrain’s Annual Town Meeting is set for May 6th to be held at 6 p.m. in the Colrain Central School gymnasium.

With 25 articles on the meeting warrant, the town will be voting on the $2.3 million operating budget and a total of $2.9 million in education spending, to include operating and capital funds for the Mohawk Trail Regional School District and the Franklin County Technical School, as well as a water heater replacement for Mohawk Trail Regional School.

In addition to the budget, town voters will also see articles on a $2,000 restoration and preservation project for town records, FRCOG charter amendments, and an amendment to the General Bylaws; adding a section to establish and authorize revolving funds for use by certain town departments.
