BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The State Senate adopted a $1.33 billion spending budget for education and transportation funded through the Fair Share Amendment, also known as the Millionaire’s Tax. $50 million will be dedicated to capital improvements, $10 million will be used for micro-transit shuttles for rural residents, and $248 million is set to fund special education.
