ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Athol Police, with the assistance of the Federal Bureau of Investigation, made two arrests in a lengthy investigation on May 29th of this year that stemmed from a home invasion during this past winter.
Dante Machuca and Andrew Poor were charged with home invasion, armed assault in a dwelling, armed assault to rob, conspiracy to commit armed robbery, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon (named as a hand gun by Athol Police), assault and battery, possession of a firearm in commission of a felony, and possession of a firearm without a license.
Machuca and Poor were arraigned in Orange District Court on Friday, May 30th, 2025, according to a press release from Athol Police.
