HIP benefits returning to $40 in July

GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Healthy Incentives Program, HIP, reimbursing SNAP households for funds spent at farmers markets, farm stands, and farm shares, has been restored to $40 per household per month starting in July. 

The benefit had dropped to $20 per month last fall without any certainty of if or when it would be restored to the full $40.
