LEVERETT, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A second alarm brush fire broke out in the Long Hill Conservation Area at Leverett Pond on Saturday.
Quick action by Leverett firefighters and mutual aid partners allowed for the fire to be contained and extinguished without injury.
Leverett Fire Department is asking the public to avoid the area due to hazardous conditions, the department will be monitoring the situation.
