NORTHAMPTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Yesterday morning, July 21st, a stabbing was reported on a bike trail in Northampton.
Police responded to the scene in the area of 136 West Street just after 11:30 a.m. Monday morning where a 43 year-old Springfield man claimed he was walking between the Roundhouse Parking Lot and Veteran’s Field where he was attacked from behind by two males and allegedly stabbed multiple times in his arms and one leg.
The victim, who is receiving medical treatment for his injuries, also reported being robbed of his cash before the alleged suspects fled on foot.
