DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Last week in Deerfield, State Troopers with the Community Action Team arrested all of the occupants of a vehicle after a traffic stop on I-91 led to the discovery of narcotics and an illegal firearm.
During the stop, Troopers found none of the occupants including the driver held a valid driver’s license and a vehicle search uncovered 1.5 kilograms of cocaine and 120 grams of fentanyl.

During the stop, Troopers learned that neither the operator nor any of the passengers had a valid driver’s license.
Troopers removed the operator to fill out summons paperwork. During the conversation with the operator and passengers, Troopers ascertained that the vehicle was transporting narcotics across New England as well as an illegal firearm.
