GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Saturday’s storm brought a tornado to Holden, and brought down several trees and wires throughout the region.
Strong winds swept through the Franklin County Fairgrounds causing minor damage with some tents coming down and trash receptacles knocked over.
A tree came down on a house on Grove Street in Turners Falls. The Fire Department responded and found no injuries.
A tree also came down on River Road in Deerfield, causing a temporary road closure.
