MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — As announced at the Monday evening Montague Selectboard meeting, the search for a new Montague Police Chief has been narrowed down to two candidates, Lieutenant Jason Haskins of the Greenfield Police Department and David Kachajian, Chief of Police in Brandon, Vermont.
The report came from a meeting of the Police Chief Search Committee held just before the Selectboard meeting where the Committee voted on their finalist candidate recommendations to the Selectboard.
The Montague Selectboard will join in for finalist interviews next week before a public meeting will be held and final decision made in the coming weeks.
